This can occur if the start date is in the past and movements have been made for the item after that date.
The inventory reflects the system state as of the start date. If stock movements occurred after the start date, these movements will not be reflected. You need to change the start date (then save the inventory and update the quantities) to cover them, or create a new inventory.
