Execution - Deposit To field

Written by Lenka Haringerová

Wage garnishment deposition means that upon receiving an enforcement order or execution order, the employer is required to make deductions from the employee's wage even before the decision becomes legally effective.

The employer holds the deductions in deposit (meaning the deduction is made from the wage, but the funds are not transferred anywhere — they simply remain withheld) until a notice of legal effectiveness is delivered. At that point, all deductions made up to that time are transferred to the creditor's account, and from then on the monthly deductions continue without the deposition hold.

When entering an execution order in the HR module, a "Deposit until:" field is available. However, this field is for informational purposes only — filling it in will not prevent the creation of a related wage liability or its potential inclusion in a payment order.
