On high-resolution (4K) monitors, the desktop application may render illegibly small. The client interface is not yet optimized for high DPI — we do plan to optimize it, but this requires a major overhaul of the entire interface. Below you'll find instructions on how to adjust the display on individual operating systems.
ℹ️ Everything is configured on your PC within the operating system, not in Flexi.
Windows
There are two options. Option A lets the operating system handle scaling and applies only to Flexi. Option B changes the display scaling for the entire system.
Option A – Adjust DPI for Flexi only
Right-click the application icon and select Properties.
Go to the Compatibility tab and, in the Settings section, open Change high DPI settings (on older versions of Windows, this option is directly on the tab).
Check Override high DPI scaling behavior and, in the Scaling performed by list, select System.
Confirm with Apply and OK, then launch the application.
⚠️ The trade-off for this setting is worse font rendering — the text will be larger, but slightly blurry.
Option B – Change the scaling for the entire system
Right-click the desktop and select Display settings.
If you have multiple displays connected, first select the 4K one at the top.
In the Scale & layout section, set the scaling — while keeping 4K resolution, 150% is usually optimal.
Sign out and sign back in to Windows, otherwise the change won't take effect in Flexi.
💡 After increasing the scaling, you may need to manually widen some columns in the application so the text fits.
macOS
We don't have a verified procedure for macOS. If Flexi is displaying incorrectly on your Mac, please email us at podporaflexi@abra.eu with your macOS version, Flexi version, and monitor resolution.
