Exchange Rate Difference When Deducting an Advance Payment in Foreign Currency

Automatic Creation of Exchange Rate Difference When Deducting an Advance Payment in Foreign Currency

Written by Zuzana Sýkorová

As of June 29, 2021, version 2021.6 is available. This version introduces automatic creation of exchange rate differences when deducting advances in foreign currency.

The exchange rate difference when deducting an advance in foreign currency is no longer created as a correction item on the final invoice. It is posted via an internal document, which no longer affects VAT.

For issued invoices, the internal document is created when deducting both an advance and a tax document for advance payment (TDAP); a completely new feature is the automatic creation of the exchange rate difference when deducting an advance on received invoices.
