Payroll Components Summary

Where to Find the Payroll Components Summary and What It Is Used For

Written by Lenka Haringerová

The payroll component recap is part of the print outputs in ABRA Flexi. This output is usually sent to the CSSA (Czech Social Security Administration), as it contains a summary statement of social security contributions and other components.

The output can be found in the menu under Employees - Print Outputs - Payroll Outputs - Payroll Component Recap:

A wizard will open where you can filter the recap as needed:

You can select a specific year and month, restrict the recap to a single cost center, person, or component group. If the Cost Center Summation checkbox is selected, the recap output will be displayed as a total across all selected cost centers.

If you are only interested in, for example, social insurance, you can select just that specific component to narrow down the output:

Then click the Finish button.

The output will be displayed, showing a summary of all components for all employees for the selected period.

Base = shows the base for components that are calculated from a base amount, e.g., the advance tax base or monthly salary

Amount = shows the amount for components that are not calculated from a base, or the already calculated amount derived from the base after tax deductions, etc.

Days = if a number of days is entered for a payroll item, it will appear in this column

Hours = if a number of hours is entered for a payroll item, it will appear in this column

Items = the number of items included in a given payroll component (e.g., monthly salary contains 24 items from 24 employment contracts).

Cost Center = relevant when items are not displayed as a summary across all cost centers

The output can then be saved as a PDF using the "yellow printer" icon, or exported to Excel using the "two arrows" icon:
