What does the change involve?
We are constantly working to make the ABRA Flexi system absolutely secure and transparent.
Previously, you created so-called API users for your integrations and automations to ensure and secure data transfers between applications. This, of course, remains unchanged. Only the licensing system for this API access is changing.
Going forward, your license will include an add-on called API Access. Once activated, you will be able to create an unlimited number of API users. For each integration, you can create a separate user, thereby increasing security, assigning an appropriate role and access to a specific accounting unit, and improving traceability of potential issues within the logs. From a practical standpoint, this is the only correct approach and can be considered the "industry standard".

What will the change bring?
Security. Each integration will have its own separate login, eliminating the sharing of credentials across multiple applications, accounting units, and developers. It will no longer be necessary — or possible — to provide third parties with the login credentials of standard users.
Transparency. Because each integration will be authenticated by a specific API user, every operation will be recorded under the corresponding credentials. This makes it easy to trace, even far back in history, which integration performed a given change.
Cost savings. Companies that have multiple integrations and have previously purchased a separate API user for each one will now pay less.
What are the pricing terms?
The pricing policy is simple and transparent. API Access always costs the same as one standard user license for the given plan. After that, you can create as many API users as you like — without any limits.

When will the change take effect?
The change will take effect on 1 December 2024.
Users who have already purchased at least one API user will be automatically migrated to the new plan, and billing will be adjusted accordingly. If you have prepaid for a longer period in advance, the change will not affect you until that fixed term expires.
For licenses without purchased API Access, the use of the API will be unavailable from 1 January 2025.
How do I activate API Access? It's simple — just open your customer link (accessible directly from the desktop application via Help -> My ABRA Flexi, or in the web application under Settings -> General). Very soon, you will also be able to manage your license directly in the new self-service portal, which will be part of your ABRA Flexi web application.
