Form Settings – WUI

How to work with forms in the new web interface design?

Written by Denisa Králová

In the new web interface design, we have unified form settings to make their management simpler and more straightforward. Features that were previously split between variant settings and field settings can now be found together in one place under the Form Layout section. This allows you to make form adjustments more conveniently and without unnecessary switching between individual settings. More information regarding the overall design change can be found in our article here.

Below, we will show you how to work with form field display settings in the original Flexi design.

After making your selection, search for or directly add the desired field.

After saving the field settings, the field will become available at the corresponding position.

If you still cannot see the desired field — for example, a cost center or job order — go to the company settings (user icon in the top right corner) and enable the field there.

Form settings can be found in every module under the gear icon in the top right corner. As before, two form variants are available in Flexi: Default and Tabbed.

The change affects how individual fields are displayed — they are now organized into two groups: visible and hidden. Next to each field, you will find an eye icon that lets you choose whether to hide or show the field. Based on your selection, the field will then move to the corresponding column.

When applying your chosen form settings, you can select whether to also set them as the default or set them as the default for all users in your company.

If you are not satisfied with the changes you have made, you can also revert them using the arrow icon next to the Apply button.

It is also important to note that if you have the form settings variant for full display set to "System" and you make any modification — whether to field or column visibility — the variant will automatically switch to "Custom".
