This guide applies to application versions up to 2021.4.0 only.
When using inventory accounting method B, set the appropriate posting rules on the document types (either by entering the relevant accounts in the Posting tab — 501 for materials, 504 for goods, etc. — or by using the pre-configured posting rules available for method B).
Disabling warehouse posting is not possible, as it would result in a large number of unposted documents. It is therefore preferable to set account 504 or 501 (as applicable) as the warehouse account as well, so that goods receipts and goods issues are posted as 504/504. We also recommend checking the goods and materials groups to ensure that no other account is configured on them that could affect the posting.
