Written by Lenka Haringerová

If the annual/monthly exchange rate is being downloaded incorrectly on the 1st working day of the month, follow these steps:

1) Check under Company - Settings - Other to verify that the settings are configured correctly

2) Go to Tools – Codebooks – Currencies – select the relevant currency – open it and verify that the same exchange rate download method is set, i.e. Monthly

3) To test whether it is working, check https://www.cnb.cz/cs/financni-trhy/devizovy-trh/kurzy-devizoveho-trhu/kurzy-devizoveho-trhu/
Find the valid exchange rate for your period from the settings and create an issued invoice in Flexi

Daily exchange rate - The Flexi system is downloading CNB exchange rates incorrectly:

1) Check under Company - Settings - Other to verify that the settings are configured correctly

2) Go to Tools – Codebooks – Currencies – select the relevant currency – open it and verify that the same exchange rate download method is set, i.e. Daily

Most clients use daily exchange rate downloads with the previous day's rate. The CNB publishes exchange rates every day at 2:00 PM, and until that time the rate would not be available — which is why the previous day's rate is used. However, the previous day's rate (e.g. January 30th) is stored under the date of January 31st (because it will be applied on that date). The rate itself is therefore correct, but when you compare it with the officially published rate for January 31st, it will differ.

If you want to switch from the previous day to the current day, you must delete the exchange rate table and bear in mind that the current day's rate will only be available after 2:00 PM each day. If you issue an invoice before 2:00 PM, the previous day's rate will be used for that invoice, and this rate will apply for the entire day.
