Order statuses allow for a more detailed breakdown of the fixed order status types. Depending on the order type, four basic statuses are provided, which you can modify, delete, or replace with your own statuses to suit your company's needs. You can find this code list in the "Sales" module under "Order Code Lists" -> "Order Statuses".
The toolbar at the top of the table contains a number of buttons whose functions are described in the dedicated chapter "Program Controls".
Main panel
Click the "New" button or use the keyboard shortcut Alt+N to open the form for a new record.

Code
Required field, can contain up to 20 characters. The value must be unique across all records.
The code (also referred to as an abbreviation) is a shortened representation of a record. By entering the code, you can select a specific record directly without having to search through hundreds of records.
We recommend choosing a code that clearly reflects the record name (and conversely, that the name suggests the code). Codes are displayed in individual rows of overview lists, so it is advisable to keep them short.
Name
Required field, can contain up to 255 characters.
This field generally represents the record in overviews, printed reports, and selection lists, so it should describe the record in a unique and clear way.
If you configured foreign languages during initial setup, you can click the "+" button to fill in the "Name" field in the selected foreign languages. These language variants of the name are printed on documents when foreign-language printing is used. Click the "-" button to close the foreign-language name fields.
"Basic Information" tab
Filling in the fields on this tab is optional. It serves to provide better clarity when working with order statuses.
