Products – Attribute Codelists
Here you define the types and groups of attributes assigned to individual price list items. Attributes are subsequently used in online stores for more precise specification of goods – such as size, color, and material.
Attribute codelists can be found on the workspace of the Products module "below the line".

The values recorded here are then available on the price list item in the Products – Price List menu.
New Record
Add a new record using the New button:
Code
A code for the attribute type, up to 20 characters long; it should uniquely identify the given attribute type.
Name
The name of the attribute type (up to 255 characters). To the right of this field there is a "+" icon; clicking it changes it to a "–" icon and opens additional text rows for entering the name in multiple languages (English, German, French).

Attribute Type
Integer, decimal number, string, date, boolean.
UoM
Unit of measure.

"Administration" Tab
The "Administration" tab contains information about the time validity and visibility of the given record in the codelist (list). The validity of a record is specified as a range of calendar years. Within the specified range the record is valid; outside of it the record is not valid and will not be displayed in the codelist at all. By restricting validity, you ensure that users are not slowed down by browsing through obsolete records during routine use of the codelist.
Because time validity is tied to calendar years, it does not correspond to fiscal accounting periods.
Valid From
The calendar year from which the record becomes valid.
Valid To
The calendar year in which the record's validity ends.
If you require unlimited validity for the record, do not change the default value of "0" in the Valid From field and "9999" in the Valid To field. The record will then be usable in all calendar years and will appear in the list in every calendar year.
If you set both the Valid From and Valid To fields to "2016", the record will only be usable in the year 2016 — that is, it will only be visible in the list during that year (see accounting period in the sidebar navigation header).

These represent a combinable, more detailed classification of attributes according to your needs.
New Record
Add a new attribute group using the New button:

"Selection Keys" Tab
Labels – you can attach various labels to a specific price list item; clicking the Attach button opens a dialog for selecting labels; move the labels you want to assign to the item from the left-hand Available Labels table to the right-hand Selected Labels table using the arrow, then confirm your selection with the OK button; if you need to add a label that is not yet in the left-hand Available Labels table, use the Manage Labels button; this opens the labels codelist (menu Tools – Codelists – Labels), where you can add the required label.
