Some antivirus programs (in the past, for example, NOD32) interfere with the PostgreSQL database files that ABRA Flexi is built on. This shows up as the application freezing and stopping responding in the middle of work.
ℹ️ This only applies to Windows, specifically the computer where the data is stored — that is, a local installation or the server in a network installation. You don't need to configure anything on client workstations or when running in the cloud.
What to configure
In your antivirus, create an exception (exclude from scanning) for the Flexi data directory. In the default installation, this is:
C:\winstrom-data
💡 If you chose a custom data location during installation, you can find an overview of the paths in the article Directory Locations.
You can find a technical description of the issue in English on the PostgreSQL website.
