Version 2021.4.0 added support for the Quarantine Allowance – also known as the isolation benefit (izolačka).
If an employee entered quarantine between March 1, 2021 and April 30, 2021, they are entitled to a quarantine allowance of up to CZK 370 per day.
The allowance can be entered in the Payroll Updates menu by clicking on the relevant employee and, on the Social Insurance tab, clicking the New button and adding the component PŘÍSP. IZOLAČKA – in the Amount field, enter the total quarantine allowance paid to the employee in the given month. The amount must be calculated manually, as there are many conditions governing the payment of this allowance and it was therefore not possible to automate the calculation. This allowance increases the net pay amount and has no effect on taxes, social insurance (SP), or health insurance (ZP). The employer's social insurance contributions are reduced by the amount of this allowance.
