Bulk Matching

How to Use Bulk Matching in the Web Interface

Written by Lenka Haringerová

In the web interface, you can find the Bulk Matching function by clicking the "magnifying glass" button in the top menu or via the "More agendas" button in the left sidebar.

A list of unmatched bank transactions for the past 2 months will be displayed:

Using the "bulk matching settings" button, you can filter by bank account, number of months, or choose to display only invoices and payments from the same day — which is especially useful for matching transactions from payment terminals:

At the bottom, you can click the "Match identical" button, which will match bank transactions with documents that share the same payment details. This function works similarly to the automatic payment link creation.

If no match was found, or if you prefer to match manually, you can also do so within this Bulk Matching menu. By clicking the left arrow, you can expand the details of a given bank transaction. If the document corresponds to the payment, check it and click the "Pay" button.

If no document was found to match, you can create one directly from the Bulk Matching menu. Click the "More options" button at the bottom.

If no invoice to match exists in the system yet, you can create one by clicking the "New invoice" button.

The Select button opens the invoice menu, where you can choose which invoice you want to pay and then click the Pay button.

The Post button posts the payment to the accounting template selected in the dialog window, and adds the label "Do not match" to the payment so it is no longer offered for matching. (This function is particularly useful for posting items such as bank fees or cash withdrawals from the account to the cash register, etc.)

The Ignore button adds the label "Do not match" to the payment so it is no longer offered for matching.

If you would like the payment to appear again in the Bulk Matching menu, you would need to remove the DONOTMATCH label in the bank menu. The payment will then be offered for matching again.
