From version 2021.8 onwards, it is possible to create Slovak companies with the simple accounting type (cash-basis accounting / tax records).
A new company can be created in the "Company Selection" menu, where you select Create a new company,
then choose whether you want a test company with pre-configured test data or a production company:
Then enter the company name, select Slovakia as the country, and set the organization type to Entrepreneurs – Simple Accounting.
Further settings follow the same principles as for a Czech company.
Cash-basis accounting (tax records) in Slovakia works similarly to the Czech Republic — only settled documents (bank and cash transactions) are included in the reports. Unpaid invoices with no link to a bank or cash entry do not appear in the tax records report, even when the "Manually settled" flag is selected!
For accurate record-keeping, always select the posting rule on each document:
and on the Simple Accounting tab, select the appropriate transaction nature (tax records line item)
Based on this information, documents are included in the simple accounting statement and the cash journal.
These outputs can then be found via Accounting – Accounting Outputs – Simple Accounting Statement. Here you select the period for which the output should be generated:
On the additional tabs, you can restrict the results to individual cost centers or classifications:
You can also filter by currency or project/job:
After clicking the Finish button, the documents will appear in the table from which the outputs are generated. Using the "yellow printer" button, you can then view the individual outputs in PDF format:
Compared to the Czech cash-basis accounting (tax records), there is an additional output — the Summary Statement of Income and Expenditure — which summarizes documents by individual classification.
