How to attach an attachment to a document in the web app?

Adding an Attachment

Each document provides the option to add an attachment. The upload form is located either in the document header (with PDF attachment preview — applicable to received invoices and other payables) or in the document footer.

PDF attachments can also be partially parsed. Some data is extracted automatically, while other data must be extracted manually.


Attachments can be added either by clicking the attachment field or by dragging and dropping files into it. Multiple attachments can be uploaded at once.

Once loaded, all uploaded attachments are displayed in the record editor. They can then be easily removed using the "Delete" button.

Editing an Attachment

In the edit view, you can see the date of the last modification to the attachment (the "Last modified" field), which can also serve as an indication of the upload date (provided no subsequent changes have been made to the attachment details). You can also rename the attachment or add a note.
