This register contains predefined purposes for data processing and the option to create custom purposes.
Here you record all the reasons why you process personal data (e.g., consent for marketing emails, a legal obligation to retain data on invoices, etc.).
Predefined purposes cannot be modified (they can only be copied and the copy edited); however, it is possible to define a Data Handling Subject for them, where you must specify the Relationship Type, Definition, Validity, and the company/individual from the address book.
The individual fields of a purpose definition are described below:
Abbreviation – a unique identifier for the definition
Name – name of the definition
Apply also to records with a Company Registration Number – check this box in the case of a sole trader with a registration number (who is a natural person); consent is not required for companies (Ltd / PLC)
Legal basis – specification of the legal basis
Relationship type – specification of the relationship type (controller, processor, ...)
Responsible person – the responsible user

Procedure upon expiry – procedure for handling data after the validity period expires (text)

Administration – specification of the purpose definition's validity period (from – to)
