⚠️ Applies only to older versions of ABRA Flexi that did not have signed packages, or to operating systems with a stricter security policy.
When you run the Flexi installation or update package, the operating system may block the installation and display a security warning. This is not a Flexi error – the system gives this warning for every program downloaded from the internet. You can proceed with the installation after confirming.
ℹ️ This applies to installing the desktop application on your computer (both the client and universal package). It does not apply to running the web interface (WUI).
macOS
The system will display the message „Software pochází od neznámého vývojáře" ("The software is from an unidentified developer").
Hold the Control key and click the downloaded installation package.
From the menu that appears, select Otevřít (Open).
When asked to confirm that you really want to open the file, confirm again with Otevřít (Open). The installer will start.
If a newer version of macOS does not offer the Open option at all, launch the package with a normal double-click and then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security. For the blocked package, click Open Anyway.
Windows
The system will display the message "Windows protected your PC". This behavior is controlled by the settings in Windows Security → App & browser control → Reputation-based protection settings.
If the option is set to Block, you won't be able to run the installation – switch it to Warn, or alternatively Off.
Run the installation again. In the warning window, click More info and then Run anyway.
The installer will start.
⚠️ On company computers, this setting is often locked by the network administrator, and antivirus software may also block the installation. In that case, you need to proceed through your IT department.
