Flexi Cannot Start Due to Multiple Java Versions

Resolving Multiple Java Installation Conflicts for Older Versions of ABRA Flexi

Written by Lenka Haringerová

⚠️ This issue potentially affects only ABRA Flexi versions up to 2024.7.0.
Newer versions already include their own Java 11 and are not affected by this issue.

If you have multiple versions of Java installed on your system, ABRA Flexi may attempt to launch using an unsupported version. This prevents the application from starting.

🔹 Solution

  1. Open the configuration file:

/etc/default/flexibee
  1. Locate the parameter:

Flexi_java
  1. Uncomment it and set the path to a supported version of Java (e.g. Java 11)

  2. Save the changes and restart Flexi
