If you have maternity leave entered in absences but health insurance is still being calculated, go to the HR module, open the employee card, and navigate to the Payroll Parameters tab – Health Insurance. You most likely have the Health Insurance – Top-up to Minimum Assessment Base checkbox selected. Simply uncheck this field and recalculate the payroll in the payroll update.
