Test Detecting Changes to Committed Values

What Does the "Change of Committed Values" Window Mean When Copying a Document

Written by Petr Pech

When copying a document, you may see a window titled Test detecting changes in committed values. This is not an error — Flexi is letting you know that it has assigned different values to the new document than those in the original document.

What the columns mean

  • Committed — the value from the original (copied) document.

  • Current — the value that Flexi assigned based on the current settings and code lists.

Typical cause

Most often, this involves the foreign currency exchange rate. If you copy a document whose exchange rate differs from the rate in the exchange rate list, Flexi applies the currently valid rate and recalculates all amounts accordingly. The differences shown in the window are exactly these recalculated amounts.

💡 Review the differences before confirming. If the new document should indeed use the current exchange rate, accept the changes. If you need to keep the original exchange rate, enter it manually on the new document.
