If you need to increase the total value of a single inventory item — for example, you have 10 tables in stock with a total value of CZK 100,000 and you want to increase this total value by CZK 10,000.
Procedure for increasing the value:
Create a new receipt or add a new line item to the existing receipt through which the goods were originally received into stock. Always select the specific item — in our case, the table — enter a quantity of zero, and in the amount field (
Cena za MJ) enter the value CZK 10,000.The stock will remain at 10 tables, and the total value will increase from CZK 100,000 to CZK 110,000.
The total inventory value will be increased by this amount, the unit price on the inventory card will be recalculated, and the change will naturally also be reflected in the stock status as of the relevant date.
This change will not be reflected in the posting of the warehouse document. You must either post the original source document directly to the warehouse or perform the posting manually using an internal document.
