Setting Up and Working with Accounting Periods in ABRA Flexi

📆 Accounting Period

Accounting period is the time period for which an accounting entity prepares its financial statements.

When a new company is created, a default accounting period is automatically set up, which corresponds to the current calendar year.


⚙️ Editing the Accounting Period

Using the "Edit Accounting Period" button, you can:

  • modify an existing accounting period,

  • or create a new accounting period.

This makes it easy to switch to a new year or adjust the dates to meet the specific needs of your accounting entity.


🧭 Where to Find the Settings

You can access the accounting period setup at any time later from the menu:
Company → Change or Add Accounting Period → Manage Accounting Periods

🔘 Control Buttons

  • 🔙 Previous – return to the previous dialog

  • ⏭️ Next – proceed to the next step of the wizard

  • Cancel – cancels the entire company setup and returns you to the beginning of the new company creation wizard.
