This guide describes how to install, uninstall, and update the ABRA Flexi desktop application on macOS.
ℹ️ Before installing, make sure your computer meets the system requirements. You need administrator rights to perform the installation.
Installation
Download the installation file from the download page. The distribution is provided as a disk image (.dmg).
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to mount the image.
In the mounted image, you'll find a .pkg installation package. Double-click it to launch the installation wizard and click Continue.
The wizard will show you the estimated disk space the installation will use. Continue by clicking Install.
The wizard will inform you of the result in the final step. Close it by clicking Close.
⚠️ If the installation ends with an error, you'll find details in the log /var/log/flexibee-install-log.txt, or for a client installation, in /var/log/flexibee-client-install-log.txt. Please attach the log when contacting support.
Updating to a newer version
To update, follow the same steps as for the initial installation — download the newer version and go through the wizard. The data of your accounted companies will be preserved.
Uninstallation
Mount the installation .dmg, which contains the uninstaller program Uninstaller.app. Run it under an administrator account and click the button to uninstall.
⚠️ Only check the option to remove the data of accounted companies if you really want to lose all of your accounting data. Without it, only the application will be removed and the data will remain on disk.
If you do choose to take this step, make sure you have a backup of the company available.
