Remote Access Permission - macOS

How to allow technical support remote access (AnyDesk, TeamViewer) on macOS?

Written by Petr Pech

To allow remote access for technical support, you first need to download the AnyDesk remote management application. Everything you need to download it can be found at the bottom of our article.

1) Open System Preferences

2) Open the Security & Privacy item

3) Go to the Accessibility section, click the lock in the bottom-left corner to allow changes, enter your Mac password, and on the right side enable (check) AnyDesk.

4) Go to the Screen Recording section, click the lock in the bottom-left corner to allow changes, enter your Mac password, and on the right side enable (check) AnyDesk.

If AnyDesk did not request permissions for some reason and therefore does not appear in the locations mentioned above, you can add the application manually.

Note: If you do not see AnyDesk among the listed applications, you will need to download and install it directly from the official website. Our version is a so-called portable version that does not require installation; however, this means that macOS may sometimes not reflect it in the required system settings.
