Similarly to the desktop application and API, the account balance recalculation can also be run from the web interface.
The purpose of the account balance recalculation is to check and, if necessary, recalculate the amounts on individual accounts to their correct values. When initiated, it iterates through all accounting transactions in the given period.
In the web interface, the account balance recalculation is located in the account balances agenda.
The easiest way to access account balances is by using the search bar.
After confirming your selection and navigating to the relevant agenda, you will find the account balance recalculation option on the left side at the bottom.
Clicking the button will display a form with the option to select an accounting period. The account balance recalculation is always tied to one period at a time.
To confirm, click the Run button. To exit the form without making any changes, click the Close button.
