In this article, you will find instructions on how to prepare an Excel import file for issued invoices that can be uploaded to the ABRA Flexi web interface.
Compared to the desktop application, the web interface import allows you to:
create new invoices in bulk or update existing ones,
import invoices and their line items in a single file,
work faster and more efficiently.
We recommend first reading the general article on Excel imports in the web interface, where you will find the basic requirements and formatting guidelines.
Importing Issued Invoices
After selecting the "Import from Excel" option, you need to choose the import type:
Basic import – for invoices without line items,
Extended import – for invoices including line items.
Flexi will then display the column mapping:

on the right, the corresponding fields in Flexi.
If any column is missing, it can be added via Advanced Options.

Importing Issued Invoices with Line Items (Practical Example)
If you want to import invoices along with their line items:
Select Extended import.
Prepare the Excel file in the correct format (download sample).
If you want to update an existing invoice, we recommend adding an ID column for more precise record identification.
Import process:
A test import will run to verify the data is correct.
Once the check is complete, start the import by clicking "Import" (bottom right).
After completion, a confirmation of the successful import will be displayed.
Tip for invoices without line items:
If you are importing an invoice without line items, simply add the following to the file:
the No line items doc. column,
the value TRUE.
