If the system reports are not sufficient for your needs, you are missing some important information for your partners, or creating user reports is too technically demanding, then configurable reports are the right solution for you.
Configurable Reports
To use the editor, you must first have a configurable report prepared. In the first phase, we are making the configurable issued invoice and received order available. The report editor is only available in the ABRA Flexi web interface.
The list of configurable reports is available at: /c/{firma}/configurable-reports or directly in the demo application. In the first phase, we are making the configurable issued invoice and received order available.
Documentation on creating configurable reports, which can subsequently be edited using the editor, can be found in the dedicated documentation Configurable Reports.
The configurable form prepared by us features a new and improved design. You can start using this report in the editor right away.
Configurable Report Editor
We will demonstrate the use of the editor using the Configurable Invoice as an example. The form can also be found directly in your application in the print list, both in the desktop application and in the web application. In the Issued Invoices register, open a specific invoice and use the More Actions button to select Print - Configurable Invoice.
Using the grid icon, you can access the report editor. The grid icon also indicates which reports can be configured using the editor. The editor offers two main configuration tabs — Editable Fields Settings and Report Translations. The values and options available in each tab are defined by the developer in the configurable report definition. We will now describe the options available in the standard configurable invoice.
In the desktop application, the editor is accessed from the print list.
Field Settings
The standard configurable invoice offers an editable area consisting of three columns within a grey bar. You can add additional information of your choice to this grey bar.
The default fields — Date, Payment Method, and Payment Details — are fixed and cannot be removed. In the editor, you can add any additional information below the initial set of six fields. Another option is to set accompanying information for each line item on the document.
Below is an example of configuring individual columns with new information and adding a Note to each invoice line item.
The resulting grey box on the form contains the standard fields as well as the newly defined custom fields. The added note for each document line item is also displayed.
The standard configurable invoice also offers the option to adjust additional global properties related to the appearance of the form, such as printing the "PAID" label on settled documents.
The result is then displayed as information on the form.
Report Translations
The last option offered by the configurable invoice is the ability to edit translations. The available translation options are again defined by the developer in the configurable report definition. In the standard configurable invoice, it is possible to define the available texts in Czech, English, Slovak, and German.
You can, for example, rename the report, or modify any field labels or the payment confirmation message.
Report Preview
From web application version 2023-07-07 onwards, it is possible to display a print preview without having to close the editor. This allows you to immediately see your changes.
Default Settings
If you want to delete all current document settings, from version 2024-06-11 onwards you will find a button at the bottom of the editor that allows you to do so.
