Disk Space Usage in the Cloud and How to Monitor It

How Much Storage Space Does My Company Take Up in the Database?

Written by Daniel Matějka

Generally, the size of a company's data depends on the number of documents, user operations, and uploaded attachments. A small company takes up approximately 70 MB, an average company around 500 MB, and a large company 2,000 MB or more.

Up to 1 GB of disk space usage is free of charge. Each additional started GB is billed as part of the cloud subscription according to the current price list.

Would you like a clear overview of disk space usage within your cloud instance, broken down by individual companies? There are two ways to monitor usage.

License and Subscription Section

Directly in the web interface, you will find the License and Subscription section (User Profile > License and Subscription), where under the Database Usage tab you can find a detailed breakdown of space used by each company in your license.

Adding a Widget to the Dashboard

You can also add an information widget to the dashboard.

Using the New button, select Dashboard Widget.

From the list of available widgets, select Web Page.

The Name is entirely up to you. For the URL, enter: https://vaseinstance.flexibee.eu/admin/disk-usage.json?inDesktopApp=false as shown in the screenshot below, with the only change being that instead of "demo" you should use the name of your cloud instance.
You can find it in the address bar of your web browser.

Voilà, your overview is ready.
