New look of the web application

What changes and new features does the new web interface design bring?

Written by Petr Pech

We are launching a new look for the ABRA Flexi web interface. The goal of the new design is more intuitive navigation, faster workflows, and more flexible customization to meet your needs.

This article summarizes the main new features you will encounter in the new interface. Each one includes a link to detailed documentation where you can find everything you need to know.

💡 You can switch between the new and original interface at any time using the toggle in the top bar. This lets you explore the new environment at your own pace and convenience.

Please note, however, that the migration of user settings (filters, sorting, etc.) can only be performed once. For more details, see our guide.

If you prefer to learn about the changes in a different format, we have also prepared a video for you.

Main new features

📊 New Views

Views replace the original separate saving of column settings, filters, and form variants with a single unified component — a View.

What a View can do:

  • save a complete agenda display (columns, filters, sorting, form, aggregation panel)

  • switch between system, default, and custom column settings

  • share Views with colleagues or keep them private

  • notify you of new records that match the View

For more information, see our documentation:

🔍 Enhanced filters

Filters in the new interface adapt to the field type you are filtering by. Instead of a generic dialog, each field immediately shows the most relevant options:

  • Date – preset values (today, this month…) and dynamic conditions

  • Text – operators for text-based filtering (contains, starts with…)

  • Number – mathematical operators including ± tolerance

  • Yes/No – a simple choice between two values

  • Lookup field reference – filtering via fields from another lookup table

Filters can be saved in a View for permanent or repeated use.

📝 Unified form management

We have consolidated form settings into a single location — Form Layout. Features that were previously split between variant settings and field settings are now all in one place.

What's new:

  • all fields in one place, divided into visible and hidden

  • show/hide a field with a single click on the eye icon

  • save the layout as my default or default for everyone

  • instantly undo changes

For more information, see our documentation:

🧮 Smart summaries (Aggregation panels)

Below the record list, you have access to an aggregation panel that displays totals, averages, and other summary values from the currently shown data. Instead of manual calculations, you get an at-a-glance overview — for example, the total invoiced amount for a selected period.

What the panel can do:

  • display multiple summaries side by side (e.g., tax base and total separately)

  • work with multiple currencies — values in foreign currencies are displayed separately

  • respond to the active filter — summaries are recalculated based on the records currently displayed

  • save the panel configuration as part of a View

For more information, see our documentation:

👁️ Preview panel (Split View)

Instead of opening each record's detail separately, you can now display a side panel with a preview directly alongside the list. This lets you see the list and the detail of the selected record on a single screen, and quickly browse through records without having to open and close each one individually.

What the preview panel can do:

  • display the detail of the selected record next to the list — without leaving the agenda

  • quickly navigate through records using the up and down arrows

  • display the key fields of the record (dates, company, contacts, tags…) in a clear layout

  • open the full detail for editing with a single click on the Edit button

The preview panel is especially useful for users who need to quickly review multiple records in succession — for example, when checking documents, matching payments, or searching for specific information across a list.

🤖 AI filtering

Filters in the new interface can now be set using artificial intelligence — simply describe what you want to display in plain language. No need to know exact field names or operators.

Just type something like: "Unpaid invoices overdue by more than 1,000 CZK from the previous period."

The system will then automatically:

  • identify the individual conditions from your text

  • interpret their meaning and apply the corresponding filters

  • allow the resulting filters to be manually adjusted at any time using the standard method

AI filtering works for document status, periods, amounts, specific companies, currencies, projects, and other recorded data.

What happens to your existing settings

When you first open an agenda in the new interface, your existing settings will be automatically migrated to the new Views. The migration happens automatically, on a one-time basis, and your current filters and columns will be preserved.

A dedicated article describes in detail how the migration works, what to expect, and how to resolve any discrepancies:
