Expanding Permissions for a User Role

The system does not allow editing standard (preset) roles. Therefore, a new role must be created using a copy.

  1. go to menu Tools – User Roles,

  2. in the list of roles, select the role you want to copy from, e.g. Salesperson,

  3. click the copy icon,

  4. in the newly opened window, name the role and on the Basic Sheet tab, enable access to the relevant modules,

  5. assign the newly created role to the required person

Warning! When creating a copy of a user role, you must always select a role with higher permissions than the one you intend to define, and then remove the unnecessary permissions. If you select a lower-level role and try to add permissions, the system will not accept this change.
