User Permissions

How to Set User Permissions

Written by Zuzana Sýkorová

In the Flexi application, you can assign roles and permissions to users who have access to your company, allowing you to restrict editing, deny access, or grant read-only access to certain sections.

If you hold a BASIC or BUSINESS license, you unfortunately do not have the option to configure "Data Visibility Rights". However, you can modify User Roles.

Changing a user role: Tools -> User Roles (this is a list of pre-configured roles provided by Flexi — pre-configured roles cannot be modified) -> New -> select the role that most closely matches your requirements (it is better to remove permissions than to add them — this will save you a lot of work) -> in the new window, a pre-set shortcut and name will appear automatically (these must be renamed, as two roles with the same name cannot be saved) -> select the access level (preferably the one you have decided best fits your needs) -> from here, simply adjust the settings using the available options: Full Access - Read Only - No Access - Custom Access

After modifying a user role: Tools -> User Roles -> create a new user here -> Assign the role you created to the user via User Roles

If you hold a PREMIUM license, you can configure "Data Visibility Rights" directly in Company Users.

Creating a new user role: New -> You must fill in the Login Name and Password, User Type, and User Role -> Then refine permissions using the Data Visibility Rights option -> here you can freely modify access levels, editing rights, and viewing permissions (Again, it is better to select a user role and then remove permissions rather than add them)
