Backup is one of the most important and often overlooked operations. The Flexi system naturally offers this feature, and you can encounter it during regular use or when logging out of the application. We refer to this option as manual backup, and its availability can be controlled through individual user access rights. System operation is not interrupted, and the backup is consistent at the same time (the backup always captures the state at the moment the backup process begins).
The first option for manually backing up a company and subsequently restoring a backup:
when prompted with "Do you want to back up the company's accounting before closing the program?" upon logging out of Flexi, click the Yes button,
specify the location where you want to save the company backup (preferably on an external drive),
log in to the Flexi system and on the start screen select the company you backed up,
click the Restore from Backup button,
select the backup from your local computer or external drive,
this will create a new company (it will have the same name with the backup restoration date appended to it),
by clicking the Disconnect Company button, you can disconnect the company from which the backup was created. The second option for manually backing up a company: Via the menu Company – Company Backup. The further steps are the same as in the first option.
We recommend backing up at least once a day, for several reasons: in the event of computer damage, network failure, or non-standard user actions resulting in data corruption.
