Below is an example of how to match, for instance, a miscellaneous liability in CZK against two payments — one in CZK and one in a foreign currency.
Match the payment (bank document) in CZK against the liability in CZK. (partial payment)
The payment (bank document) in a foreign currency must be posted to a clearing account (money in transit).
Create a document in the Mutual Settlements module for the amount corresponding to the foreign currency payment amount in the bank, and post it to the clearing account. (This will balance the amounts on the clearing account.)
Create a second document in the Mutual Settlements module in CZK and match it against the outstanding amount of the liability.
Post any remaining difference to internal documents.
The liability will then be fully settled. Only the bank document in the foreign currency will remain unmatched.
