Price list groups serve as customer groups to which individual pricing can be applied. This can be the fixed individual price mentioned above, or a price calculated using the price levels calculation method.
Where to find price list groups
You can find price list groups at the following path:
Goods -> Price List Groups
ℹ️ For the group itself, it is enough to fill in the abbreviation and name — nothing else needs to be set up here. What matters is assigning the group to customers and then setting up the prices.
Assigning the group to customers
Once a group has been created, it needs to be assigned to specific customers. You have two options to choose from.
Individually
You can make the assignment on the details tab of a specific business partner.
In bulk
You can assign the group to multiple business partners at once using a bulk change. You'll find this in the header of the directory (similarly to other agendas).
How to find out which customers belong to a group
You can get an overview of the companies included in a price list group directly in the directory. Display the Price list group column and use it to filter or sort the list. This will let you see at once all the customers that the prices for the given group apply to.
Setting prices for a group
Once we have assigned a price list group to the relevant customers, all that remains is to set up the appropriate pricing for this price list group. There are two options available.
Fixed individual price
This can be an individual price, instructions for setting it up can be found in a separate article.
Price level
Or a price level, whose principles we'll explain in another guide.
⚠️ If you assign a company to a price list group only after a document has been issued, the prices on already inserted items will not be automatically recalculated. The same applies if you replace the company on an existing document. The items need to be inserted again.
