Goods – Price List
This form contains a list of all goods, materials, products, and services. Each record in it can be assigned a goods group, which simplifies accounting for purchases and sales. You can also specify a sales price at which you want to sell the given item (it will then be offered when selling on an invoice or for cash).
If you need to record serial numbers for any item, they must be marked accordingly. For each item, you can set a primary supplier. For specific customers (or customer groups), you can set an individual price.
ℹ️ The price list is the gateway to warehouse management. Stock cards are only created once you check the Stock item flag and fill in the Define warehouse location field. The article How the price list, warehouses, and stock cards are related describes the whole chain of relationships.
Using this button, you can perform bulk changes to items in the record. Bulk changes can be applied to different groups of items: only selected items, or all displayed items. To make changes to selected items, first check the boxes at the beginning of each item row. For bulk changes to all displayed items, first apply the required filter. Then click the button and select the desired bulk change method to open the "Bulk Change Wizard". In the wizard, use the drop-down list to select the field you want to change and enter its new value. Confirm everything with the Finish button, and the changes will be applied immediately.
⚠️ Warning: Changes made cannot be undone with a single click, so use bulk changes with caution.
📝 Note: The price list contains certain options (settings for calculating sales prices, quantity discounts, selling by whole packages, or selling in multiples of the unit of measure) that are included in the service that extends the price list.
Price List Tree Structure
This structure allows you to sort goods according to your own criteria, regardless of goods groups. It helps improve orientation when the price list contains a large number of items.
You can show/hide the tree price list using the button to the left of the "Individual Price List" button.
Unassigned items
This folder contains all items that have not yet been assigned to any folder. We do not recommend renaming this folder.
Assigned items
You can create separate subfolders for this folder using the second button from the left. Of course, you can also create further subfolders under these subfolders.
Creating the Price List Tree Structure and Assigning Items
As a first step, we recommend adding folders and subfolders for assigned items. To add a new price list folder:
Select "Assigned items" with your cursor (it will turn blue).
Click the button to open the Tree Node window.
Fill in the required information (the name field is mandatory).
Save the record using the Save button.
You can create as many subfolders as needed under the folders you have created. (Proceed the same way as when creating folders, but select the folder under which you want to create the subfolder.) You can modify created folders and subfolders using the first button with a cross (third from the left).
Once price list items have been created, you need to assign them to the desired folder:
Select (highlight in blue) the specific folder or subfolder to which you want to assign items.
Use the "+" button to open the complete price list, where you check the price list items you want to assign.
Confirm your selection with the Assign button.
You can unassign specific price list items from a folder in a similar way, using the button.
Folder Settings
Abbreviation
This field is used to enter an abbreviation; it is not mandatory.
Name
This field is used to enter a name and is mandatory. If you set up foreign languages in the initial setup, then after clicking the "+" button, you can fill in the "Name" field in the selected foreign languages. These language variants of the name are printed on documents when printing in a foreign language. Click the "-" button to close the fields for the name in foreign languages.
"Basic Sheet" Tab
Order
Here you set the folder's position in the price list structure.
Icon path
You can use the button to assign an icon to the new subfolder.
"Online Stores" Tab
Short description; Keywords; Description; Text above; Text below
"Attachments" Tab
On this tab, you can keep records of documents related to the given node of the price list tree structure.
The top toolbar of the table contains a number of buttons; the meaning of some of them is described in a separate chapter, "Program controls."
You can use the button to add a new attachment. When adding, you have the following options:
File – a file from your local computer is loaded into the database,
Internet link – the application records a link (URL); the data of the linked resource is not loaded into the application,
File link – the application records a link to a file on the local computer's disk; the file's data is not loaded into the application (do not rename, move, or delete the referenced file).
Next to an inserted attachment, there is an icon that allows you to view the attachment at any time. Using the icon, you can save the attachment to a different location. The button is used to scan the given document; the second option allows you to select the scanner and scanning parameters.
Buttons Used
Using this button, you can rename the "Assigned items" folder as well as any subfolders you have created, change their order, and add, change, or delete icons.
Using this button, you can add separate subfolders. Of course, it is also possible to create further subfolders under these subfolders.
Using this button, you can delete created subfolders.
Using this "+" button (third from the right), you assign price list items to a folder.
Using this "-" button (second from the right), you unassign price list items from folders.
Using the last button, you unassign all price list items from folders and subfolders and move them to unassigned items.
⚠️ There is no way to check how and where price list items are assigned.
If a price list item is assigned to a folder, it will no longer appear in the "Unassigned items" folder.
However, when selecting price list items to assign, items that are already assigned to another folder are also displayed. For example, if you sell car refrigerators, you might want them to appear both in the "Refrigerators" folder and in the "Car accessories" folder.
All price list items located in a subfolder are also displayed in the parent folder. However, you can also assign a price list item only to the parent folder, without assigning it to a subfolder. Reason: you might sell refrigerators (parent folder), but also want to put the same car refrigerators into a separate folder as well.
💡 Setting up the price list and pricing is quite extensive, so we recommend attending one of our training sessions, which will explain how to work with the price list effectively.
Main Panel
Click the button or use the Alt+N keyboard shortcut to open the form for a new record. If you want to assign the item to a specific folder/subfolder of the tree structure, simply have that folder or subfolder selected. After saving the form with the new record, it will be saved directly into the selected folder/subfolder.
The top toolbar of the table contains a number of buttons, the meaning of which is described in a separate chapter, "Program controls."
Name
Mandatory field, may contain up to 255 characters.
This generally represents the record in overviews, printed reports, or selection lists, so the record should be described in a unique way. If you set up foreign languages in the initial setup, then after clicking the "+" button, you can fill in the "Name" field in the selected foreign languages. These language variants of the name are printed on documents when printing in a foreign language. Click the "-" button to close the fields for the name in foreign languages.
Code/abbreviation
This field may contain up to 30 characters. It represents the unique identification of the price list item. This code/abbreviation makes it easier to search for items in the price list. You can also use it in business relationships with suppliers and customers. It is generated automatically once you fill in the name of the price list item (it takes the first word from the Name field); it can be overwritten as needed; note: we do not recommend using abbreviations that are unrelated to the name of the price list item, as they will be difficult to remember.
VAT Rate
The rate of value added tax; the drop-down list contains these values:
standard – 21% since 2013,
reduced – 15% since 2013,
2nd reduced – 10% since January 1, 2015,
exempt – no entitlement to tax deduction.
Price Type
This field relates to the sales price that has been set. If you use the extended price list, this field also matters for rounding the sales price. There are 3 options:
excluding VAT – the specified sales price is exclusive of VAT; in the extended price list, the calculated price excluding VAT is rounded,
including VAT (exact) – VAT is calculated back from the sales price; in the extended price list, the calculated sales price including VAT is rounded (calculated in the same way – backward, exactly).
including VAT (coefficient) – the specified sales price is inclusive of VAT; VAT is calculated back from this sales price using a coefficient; in the extended price list, the calculated sales price including VAT is rounded (calculated in the same way – backward, using a coefficient).
Sales Price Excluding VAT/Including VAT
This price is offered when selling the given item on an invoice or for cash. Depending on the version you purchased, you either calculate it yourself or it is calculated based on the configured pricing setup. Even in this case, you can adjust it individually – overwrite it.
Stock Type
You must select a value in this field before you start working with the price list item; otherwise, the system will not allow you to make any changes retroactively; for example, select the value "Goods" and check the Stock item flag; the following inventory types are available:
Stocked goods – this goods is recorded at a specific warehouse; stock cards are created for this inventory type – so there is precise tracking of the status and movement of these stocks.
Types: goods, material, work in progress, semi-finished product, finished product, and, under certain circumstances, livestock.
Non-stocked goods – these are goods for which we do not want to keep records, and no stock cards are created for them. This category includes, for example, software sales, etc.
Types: service, fee.
Service – if a company provides services, it can simplify the issuing of sales documents using this stock type
Fee – if a company charges fees, it can simplify the issuing of sales documents using this stock type
Finished product – finished products are recorded at a specific warehouse; stock cards are created for this inventory type – so there is precise tracking of the status and movement of finished products
⚠️ Whether a stock card is created is determined by the stocked/non-stocked distinction, not by the specific type. The type itself (goods, material, semi-finished product, work in progress, finished product) is almost exclusively a categorization and has no further functional relevance in the application. It is used for sorting the assortment, filtering, and reporting.
The only exception is fee. For this type, the stock type does actually have a function, because fees are linked to price list items on the Fees tab and are then added automatically to the document during a sale. Therefore, a fee must actually be marked as a fee.
Goods Group
Optional names based on intended use; the value selected in this field is important for pricing and accounting purposes; the values available are those recorded in the menu Goods – Goods and Material Groups.
For clarity, filling in the price list card is divided into several tabs.
Tabs in the upper half of the card:
"Details" tab
"Pricing" tab
"Other specifications" tab
"Description" tab
"Note" tab
"Administration" tab
"Attachments" tab
"Bill of materials" tab
Tabs in the lower half of the card:
"Suppliers" tab
"Customers" tab
"Sets and bundles" tab
"Fees" tab
"Similar goods" tab
"Serial numbers" tab
"Reservations" tab
"Details" Tab
This tab is used to specify additional details in the price list. Most of these fields are optional (the exception is that you must define the warehouse location for the "Stocked goods" and "Finished product" stock types), and it is up to the user whether to use them.
Unit of measure
Use the drop-down list to select the appropriate unit of measure. There are 4 basic units set up – kilogram, kilometer, piece, meter. If you need to add another unit of measure, press F2 to open the "Units of measure" dialog, where you can add the required unit (menu Tools – Registers – Units of measure).
Number of decimal places for unit of measure
Up to 6 decimal places can be set.
Purchase price
The purchase price is important information for users of the Business and Premium versions who use the extended price list to calculate sales prices. In other cases, it is for informational purposes only. You can update this price using the company settings. If you are a VAT payer, always enter the purchase price excluding VAT (the price type setting is not relevant in this case).
EAN
The company's international unique number assigned by the relevant authority, needed for EDI electronic data exchange.
PLU code
This is a goods identification number that started being used in the early nineties. It was introduced for more accurate and faster inventory control. PLU made it easy to distinguish between similar products with different prices. The PLU code is also referred to in some systems as an "internal goods code" or internal ID. Nowadays, PLU is used mainly as an additional product identifier in information systems, for sales, or for warehouse and inventory purposes.
Individual minimum margin
Checking this flag makes the % field accessible, where you can enter the value at which you want to sell the given stock item (e.g., the purchase price of a product is CZK 100, and the individual minimum margin is 10%; if you try to sell the product for CZK 110, you will be alerted that you are making CZK 10 on each unit sold).
Warranty
For goods that have a warranty period different from the standard one, you can set the length of the warranty. Use the drop-down list to select between month/year. No other option can be set.
Weight (net)
The net weight of the given goods. Use the drop-down list to select between kilogram/piece/meter. Press F2 to open the "Units of measure" dialog, where you can add the required unit (menu Tools – Registers – Units of measure).
Packaging weight
The weight of the packaging of the given goods. This value is given in the same units as the net weight (additional values can be added via the menu Tools – Registers – Units of measure).
Volume
The volume of the given goods. Use the drop-down list to select between kilogram/piece/meter. Press F2 to open the "Units of measure" dialog, where you can add the required unit (menu Tools – Registers – Units of measure).
Define Warehouse Location
If you set the "Stock type" field to "Stocked goods" or "Finished product" in the main panel, you must fill in the warehouse name where this good or product is located. Click the Define warehouse location button to display the "Warehouse Selection" dialog. Use the right arrow or double-click to move the selected warehouse from the left column "Available warehouses" to the right column "Selected warehouses." Confirming this dialog will transfer the selected warehouse into the free field on the price list card.
ℹ️ This is the moment when the stock card is created. By checking the Stock item flag and selecting a warehouse, you instruct the system that a stock card should be created for this item, where all information about movement, status, and average price will be stored. One card is created for each selected warehouse, so the relationship is 1:N. The whole chain is described in the article How the price list, warehouses, and stock cards are related.
If you check Automatically add new goods to this warehouse for the selected warehouse in the warehouse list, this field will be automatically pre-filled with that warehouse.
If you view a price list item, for example, during the year, and there is a stock of goods in the warehouse, this stock quantity will be shown in parentheses after the warehouse name.
Update tags
Do not overlook this field. Tags are used to "attach" information important to you. Multi-purpose tags and the ability to assign multiple ones (any number of different tags to a single document) give you unlimited options for creating selections based on various combinations of these tags. Click the Update tags button to display the "Tag Selection" dialog. Use the right arrow or double-click to move a selected tag from the left column "Available tags" to the right column "Selected tags." Use the "Manage tags" button to open the tag list, where you can add tags with other information important to you. Confirming the "Tag Selection" dialog will transfer the selected tags into the free field on the price list card.
Track serial numbers
By checking this checkbox, you tell the system that serial numbers are mandatory for this item. Without entering serial numbers, the purchase or sale document cannot be saved. You can disable serial number tracking during the year or, conversely, introduce it newly. In the latter case – when you check "Track serial numbers" – you will be notified that serial numbers need to be added to documents containing this price list item. To find the required documents, use the "Stock movements – overview" option and filter for the price list item. If serial numbers have already been added to a document, the "Serial numbers OK" field will be checked in the table view. Serial numbers are saved on a separate tab of the price list card. This information is transferred to the stock card.
Serial numbers must be unique
This checkbox is only available when the Track serial numbers field is checked. If checked, when adding further serial numbers, their uniqueness among the serial numbers of the given item will be verified.
VAT reverse charge code
This field is intended for VAT payers subject to § 92a – the reverse charge regime for the supply of gold or the supply of goods listed in Annex No. 5. Use the magnifying glass button to select the appropriate type of goods from Annex No. 5, which will then also be displayed in the price list's table view.
Exclude from Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion
This checkbox is displayed only when the Buy 1 Get 1 Free sales promotion is active; otherwise, it remains hidden. If checked, the item will be excluded from the Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion, meaning purchasing it will not entitle the customer to an additional free unit, nor will it itself be given away for free.
"Pricing" Tab
📝 Note: This tab belongs to the service that extends the price list. It can only be used in the Business and Premium editions. Here you record sales prices for a particular customer group or goods group.
On each price list card, the goods group is filled in on the main panel. Most information is then transferred to this tab from that goods group:
Price rounding
Sales price calculation (SP1)
SP calculation (SP2-5) with quantity discounts
Therefore, these fields are currently inaccessible. If you want to keep this setting for calculating sales prices, you have the option to fill them in.
Number of units of measure in price
In most cases, the default value is "1" (the system allows the sale of 1 piece, and the sales price is then set as 1/2 of the established sales price); note: the value in this field can be overwritten at any time.
Purchase price
This value has been transferred from the field of the same name on the Details tab; the mechanism also works in reverse, i.e., if you fill in this field on the Pricing tab, its value is transferred to the Details field.
This is important information for users of the Business and Premium editions who use the extended price list to calculate sales prices. In other cases, it is for informational purposes only. This price is not currently automatically updated in response to changes in purchase prices. If you are a VAT payer, always enter the purchase price excluding VAT (the price type setting is not relevant in this case).
Recalculate
Always use the Recalculate button whenever the purchase price changes. This will recalculate the sales price according to the configured calculation method and round it according to the configured rounding method.
If you do not want to keep the current sales price calculation settings based on the selected goods group, you also have the option to set individual pricing.
Individual pricing
Checking this box makes the fields on the Pricing tab accessible, allowing you to set an individual price for this price list item only; the way to fill it in is the same as in the menu Business Partners – Goods and Material Groups on the Basic Price Level tab.
Sales Price (SP) Calculation
Base price
From the drop-down list, select the base price: purchase price, no price.
Calculation method
Choose from these options: margin – the spread between the cost price and the sales price, discount – a percentage reduction from the sales price provided by the supplier of the goods to the customer.
Price Rounding
Rounding method
Choose how you want to round the price: up/down/mathematically.
Rounding order
Choose the rounding order you require: no rounding/thousandths/hundredths/tenths/units/tens/hundreds/thousands.
SP Calculation with Quantity Discounts
Base price
purchase price/sales price
Calculation method
Choose from these options: margin – the spread between the cost price and the sales price, discount – a percentage reduction from the sales price provided by the supplier of the goods to the customer.
From quantity, %, Price 2, 3, 4, 5 – the percentages and calculated prices depend on the quantities you specify.
"Other Specifications" Tab
📝 Note: This tab belongs to the service that extends the price list.
Here you record sales prices for a specific customer group, goods group (selling in multiples, in different package sizes). It also contains information about conversions to other units of measure.
Manufacturer
This information is optional. You can fill it in using the magnifying glass from the list of business partners.
Regular price
This is informational data that is not otherwise used further. It is used mainly for online stores.
Classification
This field is informational. The user can enter, for example, the location of the goods in this field.
Sell Multiples of the Unit of Measure
Enter the number of multiples if you do not sell the goods individually but in multiples, e.g., pallets, tiles, notebooks with covers; note: if you try to sell a different quantity, an error message will appear:
If you decide to sell in multiples, you can set the price for these multiples in the Number of units of measure in price field on the Pricing tab; when selling off individual pieces, the sales price offered will be 1/X of the sales price, where the value "X" is set according to the Number of units of measure in price field.
Packaging
This section is used to record goods sold individually as well as in various packaging types (carton, pallet, etc.); up to 5 different types of packaging can be set, and if you also sell individual pieces, set up 1 piece for each packaging type; you set the following values.
Name
The name of the packaging (e.g., individual, carton, pallet).
Number of units of measure
How many units of measure (the unit specified on the Details tab) the packaging contains (e.g., for the name "individual," enter 1 unit of measure).
EAN
If you use barcodes, you can also enter a barcode for each packaging type.
Price
A non-editable field that shows the sales price for the entire package, if you have set a sales price per unit of measure in the form's header.
Conversion
Unit of measure no. 2: UoM2/UoM1:
Unit of measure no. 3: UoM3/UoM1:
You can fill in additional information here for your reference. There may be a situation where you have set the unit of measure, for example, to "piece" in the "Details" tab. But it is a small item and you know that, for example, 200 pieces weigh 1 kg. So here you can set unit of measure no. 2, where you choose this second unit – kg. And in the adjacent field UoM2/UoM1, you enter the conversion coefficient as a ratio of UoM2/UoM1, i.e., 1/200 = 0.005, meaning that one piece weighs 0.005 kg. From this, you can easily calculate how many pieces you are selling if you sell 0.33 kg.
Track batches
Track expiration dates
Shelf life is X days after expiration
⚠️ This conversion is not used anywhere else. This information is purely for your own reference.
"Description" Tab
This tab is used to provide additional information about the price list item. If you selected foreign languages in the company's initial setup (Company – Settings – Legislation), this description can also be filled in in those languages. The description of the price list item is not printed anywhere; it serves only as information for you.
Description
Further information about the price list item in the default language.
Description EN, Description DE, Description FR
Further information about the price list item in English, German, and French, or more precisely, in the languages you have selected.
"Note" Tab
This tab allows you to record any notes you need to keep for the given price list item.
"Online Stores" Tab
Short description
Keywords
Technical parameters

Export to online store
"Intrastat" Tab
Intrastat is an electronic data collection system mandatory for all member states of the European Union. This tab allows you to record all the necessary information.
Track Intrastat
Check this flag if the given goods are subject to Intrastat reporting.
Country
Select the country of origin of the goods from the drop-down list; note: the country can also be filled in on the document.
Nomenclature
Use the icon on the right to select from the customs code registers – this opens the menu Tools – Registers – Intrastat – Nomenclature codes.
Goods type monitoring code
Coefficient for unit of measure
Coefficient for statistical value
"Administration" Tab
The "Administration" tab contains information about the time validity as well as the visibility of the given record in the register (list). The validity of a record is specified by a range of calendar years. Within the specified years, the record is valid; in other years, the record is not valid and will not appear in the register at all. By limiting the validity, you ensure that, during routine use of the register, the user will not be delayed by browsing through records that are no longer used.
Since time validity is tied to calendar years, it does not correspond to fiscal accounting periods.
Valid from
The calendar year the record becomes valid.
Valid until
The calendar year the record's validity ends.
If you want the record to be valid indefinitely, do not change the default value "0" in the Valid from field or the value "9999" in the Valid until field. The record will then be usable in all calendar years and will appear in the list every calendar year.
If you fill in both the Valid from and Valid until fields with "2016," the record will only be usable in 2016, i.e., it will only be visible in the list in that year (see the accounting period in the sidebar navigation header).
Allow POS sale
By checking this flag, you can allow or disallow the sale of a specific price list item at the point of sale (POS). If left unchecked, the item cannot be sold via the point of sale.
"Attachments" Tab
On this tab, you can archive various documents related to the given goods, such as technical specifications, photographs, or user manuals.
The top toolbar of the table contains a number of buttons; the meaning of some of them is described in a separate chapter, "Program controls."
You can use the button to add a new attachment. When adding, you have the following options.
"Bill of Materials" Tab
This tab is used to record the items from which the given product is composed, e.g., oil from a bottle, labels, and the oil itself. Every bill of materials item must be listed in the price list. First, you need to create a price list item with the value Finished product, Semi-finished product, or Work in progress in the Production type field in the header of the Price List form. When first working with the bill of materials, the name of the product is offered in the first record based on the price list item for which the bill of materials is being created.
It has its own buttons in the top toolbar, briefly described in the chapter "Program controls".
These are buttons you already know from the tree price list. Use the second button from the left to open the form for creating the bill of materials.
The first record offered is a dialog with the name of the product (i.e., the price list item for which the bill of materials is being created); in the next stage, you add the components from which the product is made.
Use the green Create new bill of materials icon to create a new record.
Name
The "Name" field may contain up to 255 characters. It is optional. If you set up foreign languages in the initial setup, then after clicking the "+" button, you can fill in the "Name" field in these foreign languages. These names are then printed on documents when printing in a foreign language. Click the "-" button to close the fields for the name in foreign languages.

"Sets and Bundles" Tab
This tab is used to set up the price list items that make up a set or bundle. You will use it when combining 2 or more price list items in a sale into a single invoiced item, for example, if you have 2 price list items (e.g., a notebook and covers) and need to invoice them together as a notebook with a cover.
Use the button to open the form for adding individual components that you have listed in the price list:
Price list item
Use the magnifying glass button to select the set's item from the price list (menu Goods – Price List).
Quantity
Enter the quantity for one set.

"Texts" Tab (EkoKom)
All registers and all lists contain a "Texts" tab. There are two fields where you can enter data according to your own needs. Filling them in is not mandatory.
Description
Additional details.
Note
Another note.
"Administration" Tab (EkoKom)
"Accessories" Tab
Accessories
These are other price list items related to the price list item you are currently viewing; they can be selected from the Goods – Price List menu; for example, a cable that belongs to a computer.
Note
Any note regarding the accessory.
"Attributes" Tab
Attributes are most commonly used with online stores, for example, if you sell workwear and the attributes would be sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL), colors, material, etc.
⚠️ Attributes are not the same as goods variants. Each variant (size, color) needs a separate price list item and, therefore, a separate stock card. This is explained in detail in the article Price List Attributes.
Add attribute
You will be redirected to the menu Goods – Attribute Registers – Attribute Types.
Add attribute group
You will be taken to the menu Goods – Attribute Registers – Attribute Groups.
"Price Levels" Tab
Price levels allow you to provide discounts to selected customer groups and goods, and are used when issuing sales documents for goods sold from stock, both on invoice and for cash.
Use the button to add or remove price levels.
"Serial Numbers" Tab
If you check the Track serial numbers flag on the Details tab, this tab will display the serial numbers of the goods you have in stock.
⚠️ Serial numbers must be recorded before you start working with the price list item.
On this tab, for each serial number, you can find out which document was used to purchase the goods and which document was used to receive them into the warehouse. If you are interested in the history of serial numbers, use the separate "Serial Numbers" option in the "Goods" module.
"Reservations" Tab
This tab contains a list of reservations for the selected goods.
Reservations of goods can be made in several ways:
menu Goods – Price List – Reservations tab,
menu Business Partners – Company Addresses – Reservations tab,
menu Goods – Reservations,
menu Sales – Received Order – immediately upon receipt of the order
and, depending on the reservation settings in the company settings, reservations can also be created automatically upon receipt of an order or when the ordered goods are received into stock.
Reservations are always reflected back on the goods card, on the customer's card, and in the central reservation register, available as a separate option in the Goods module.
Click the button or use the Alt+N keyboard shortcut to open the form for a new record. This form is the same for reserving goods in all places in the program, except when creating a reservation directly from an order.

Pricing – Example
The sales price specification in ABRA Flexi can be set in several ways:
Goods – Price List – Price List Item – the "Sales Price" field in the record header
Here you can choose a fixed sales price for the given price list item.
Goods – Price List – Price List Item – "Pricing" tab
Here you can set the sales price using a margin and set quantity-based prices.
Goods – Price List – Price List Item – "Sales Prices" tab in the lower part of the record
On this tab, you can set sales prices for a specific company or price list group. This tab also allows you to set sales prices in other currencies.
Goods – Price List – Price List Item – "Price Levels" tab in the lower part of the record
Price levels allow you to set different prices for predefined price list groups. If you add a price level to a business partner's record, this level will be automatically filled in when issuing an invoice.
Example of Using Price Levels and Price List Groups
We will work with simple price levels, where we have 3 types of customers to whom we will offer different discounts: wholesale (20%), retail (10%), and end consumers (0%). First, we set up price list groups; for our example, two groups will suffice: the "wholesale" group and the "retail" group. For each price group, we will create specific price levels (menu "Goods" – "Price Levels").
You create these by clicking the "Add/Remove" button and then clicking the "New" button to open a new record. In this record, you can choose the sales price calculation method, the rounding method, and quantity discount settings. It is enough for us to set a 10% discount for retail and a 20% discount for wholesale. A very important tab is the "Price Lists" tab at the bottom of the record, where you select which price list items the price level will apply to. If you want the price level to apply to all items, check the flag in the top left corner next to the name of the first column. You can also select specific goods groups, price list groups, or business partners to which the price level should apply. In our case, we will add our "wholesale" or "retail" groups to the "Price List Groups" tab. In the "Address Book" tab, we will add the business partners from the price list who use these discounts. Once these parameters have been configured, the price on the issued invoice will change automatically based on the entered information.
