Free add-on that allows you to bulk edit issued invoice line items

Add-on Installation

The add-on can be downloaded from our website: Add-ons - ABRA Flexi (flexibee.eu). It is free of charge and can be used both in the ABRA Flexi desktop application and in the web interface.

For the new feature to appear in the application, you need to either fully close and restart Flexi, or simply switch away via Company - Select Company and then return to the relevant company.

How Does the Add-on Work?

The "Issued Invoice Line Items - Bulk Changes to Issued Invoice Line Items" add-on allows you to perform bulk changes to the line item data of issued invoices. This add-on enables changes beyond the standard Flexi feature set, and its key advantage is the ability to update multiple data fields across selected document line items at once.

Once the add-on is activated, you will find a custom button in the top menu of the issued invoice line items.

The add-on is available for the Business and Premium plans and is free of charge. It is available in the cloud and on a company server (with a public IP address).

We have a document in which a bulk change needs to be made to its line items.

First, you will need to select the checkboxes next to the line items where the bulk change should be applied. Then navigate to the new custom button labeled "Bulk Change."

You will then be redirected and a new window will open in your PC's web browser (see image).

In the form, select the fields you want to change or fill in, then run the "Bulk Change" function. In our example, this involves adding an activity, job order, and label to specific line items of the issued invoice.

NOTE: By default, these data fields in the document line item are automatically copied from the document header. In the form, it is therefore also necessary to check the "Copy Activity" and "Copy Job Order" fields — as indicated by the tooltip on the document line item in Flexi, which advises that these options must be unchecked for the change to take effect.

After clicking the button, the page will confirm that the changes have been successfully applied.

The change will be reflected upon returning to the Flexi application by refreshing the document or pressing the keyboard shortcut Alt + R.
