Free add-on that allows you to bulk edit received invoice line items

Add-on Installation

The add-on can be downloaded from our website: Add-ons - ABRA Flexi (flexibee.eu). It is free of charge and can be used both in the ABRA Flexi desktop application and in the web interface.

For the new feature to appear in the application, you need to either fully close and reopen Flexi, or simply switch away via Company - Select Company and return to the relevant company.

How does the add-on work?

The "Purchase invoice line items - bulk changes to purchase invoice items" add-on allows you to perform bulk data changes on the line items of a purchase invoice. This add-on enables changes beyond the standard Flexi feature set, with the key advantage of being able to modify multiple data fields across selected document line items simultaneously.

Once the add-on is activated, you will find a custom button in the top menu of the purchase invoice line items.

The add-on is available for the Business and Premium plans and is free of charge. It is available in the cloud and on a company server (with a public IP address).

We have a document in which a bulk change needs to be made to its line items.

First, you will need to select the line items that require a bulk change by checking the corresponding checkboxes. Then navigate to the new custom button "bulk change".

You will then be redirected and a new window will open in your PC's web browser (see image below).

In the form, select the fields you want to change or fill in, then trigger the "Bulk change" function. In our example, this involves adding an activity and a job order to specific purchase invoice line items.

NOTE: By default, these data fields on document line items are automatically copied from the document header. In the form, you must therefore also check the "Copy activity" and "Copy job order" fields — as indicated by the information shown on the document line item in Flexi, which hints that these fields need to be unchecked for the change to be applied.

After clicking the button, the page will confirm that the changes have been successfully applied.

The change will be reflected in the Flexi application upon returning to it by refreshing the document or pressing the keyboard shortcut Alt + R.
