Import from Excel - Fees (WUI)

Import Fees from Excel into the Web Interface

Written by Petr Pech

In this article, you will find instructions on how to create a file for Excel import for the fees agenda, which can be uploaded to the web interface.

The import allows you to:

  • add new fees as well as bulk-edit existing records

  • process multiple fees at once, provided they are correctly linked.

Before importing, we recommend first reading the article on Excel imports in the web interface and understanding the principles of the fees functionality.

Price List - Fees

  • A fee can only be created from a specific price list item. This also applies to Excel imports.

  • Even if you import multiple fees, the import must be performed from a specific price list item. It does not matter which one.

  • All fees you reference must be created in the price list before the import (the import into fees will not create them).

Example import file: FEES.xlsx

Required columns for import

The imported file must contain at least the following columns:

Column name

Required / Optional

CENÍK

Code of the price list item to which the fee will be assigned

POPLATEK

All fields for the sets and bundles agenda can be found in the evidence list.

Importing records - procedure

  1. Navigate to the Fees agenda (if you do not see the tab, you can display it using form settings).

2. Click "Import from Excel" – a file selection window will open. You can use drag & drop or click to select a file from your disk.

3. After uploading the file, Flexi will list the Excel columns. If they are named correctly, automatic mapping will occur. If not, you will need to assign them manually.

4. The import runs in separate transactions – an error on one row will not cancel the import of the entire file.

5. Click "Test import" in the bottom right corner – a trial import will run, validating the data and listing any errors if found.

6. If the trial import passes without errors, confirm the import by clicking "Import". After the live import, records will be created or updated.

7. The result of the import will be returned in the same format as the trial run result (successes, errors).

In the example used, after the import you will find two newly created fees.

An example of one of the items with fees assigned in this way is shown in the screenshot below.
