This article provides instructions on how to create an Excel import file for Bank records that can be uploaded to the web interface.
Using the import, you can:
add new bank transactions,
bulk-edit existing records,
save time compared to manual data entry.
Before performing the import, we recommend reading the general article on Excel imports in the web interface, which describes the basic rules and principles of importing.
Bank Transactions – Structure and Requirements
In this section, we will look at a specific example of importing data from Excel into the bank records. You have an account statement in CSV or XLS format. These statements can also be imported into ABRA Flexi using Excel imports.
Warning: Before importing bank data, you must have a bank account configured in ABRA Flexi to which the statements will be assigned, along with a bank document type.
Example import file: bankovni-pohyb.xlsx

Practical Example – Importing Bank Transactions
In the Bank agenda, click the "Import from Excel" button.
Select the Excel file (e.g.,
bankovni-pohyb.xlsx) or drag and drop it to import.Flexi will detect and map the Excel columns to the corresponding fields in the system. Verify that the mapping is correct.
Click "Test Import" – this will validate the data without actually saving it.
If the test reveals no errors, confirm the import by clicking "Import".
The system will notify you of newly created transactions, modified records, or any errors. If everything looks correct, confirm the import once more.
After a successful import, the bank transactions from Excel will be created as new records in the system.
Tip: If you need to update existing records, it is recommended to add an ID column to the file to ensure accurate matching and correct data updates during the import.
