If an employee has terminated their employment — for example, during the course of the year — but has used more vacation days than they were entitled to, adjust the final payroll as follows:

  1. In the payroll update, on the Working Time Fund tab, add the wage component Vacation Entitlement Correction, enter the number of working days the employee has overused, and check the User Time Change checkbox. This will set the vacation entitlement to 0 days upon termination of employment.

  2. On the Basic Wage tab, add the wage component Deduction for Overused Vacation, enter — with a minus sign — the amount by which the employee was overpaid for vacation beyond their entitlement, and check the User Amount Change checkbox.
