ABRA Flexi prints through the operating system's standard print system. You just need to have your thermal label and barcode printer properly installed in the system — there's nothing special to configure in the application itself.
Customers most commonly use printers from Zebra and Brother. However, Flexi isn't tied to any specific brand and works with any printer that the operating system can see.
Where printing is configured
Label size, orientation, print density, and other parameters are set outside of Flexi:
in the printer preferences of the given printer in the operating system, or
in the manufacturer's companion software (for example, Zebra Setup Utilities or Brother P-touch Editor).
ℹ️ The settings always apply to the computer you're printing from. The procedure is the same for both cloud and local deployments — the client application on your computer does the printing, not the server.
Default printer for labels
If you want to print labels on a thermal printer and other documents on a regular printer, you can set the default printer for labels using advanced parameterization. You'll find the specific parameter as well as a downloadable template in the description of the Change Default Printer add-on.
