📘 Help in ABRA Flexi
ABRA Flexi is divided into several core modules. The system help is structured in the same way, designed to mirror the layout of the application and allow quick navigation across different areas of the program.
Help can be launched in two ways:
🧭 Opening help from the top toolbar
The first option is to open help via the top toolbar:
select Top Toolbar → Help,
a help dialog will open at the point where you last left off.
This method is particularly useful when you want to return to a topic you were already reviewing or continue studying the help content.
❓ Context-sensitive help using the question mark
The second option is to use the question mark icon on the right side of the top toolbar:
clicking the question mark opens help directly for the current screen,
this option is only available if help has been defined for the given screen.
This method is ideal when working in a specific form and you need to quickly look up the meaning of fields, buttons, or step-by-step instructions.
Warning! This help section is not regularly updated. It is recommended to use the documentation at Documentation and Help | ABRA Flexi.
🔍 Search
The Search tab allows you to search the entire help content using entered keywords.
How search works:
enter your search term in the Search field,
the program searches for the exact form of the word as entered,
search is case-insensitive,
if the term is found, a list of chapters in which it appears will be displayed.
Clicking on a chapter name:
opens its content in the right-hand section of the dialog,
the search term is highlighted in the text,
the program automatically jumps to the first occurrence of the highlighted term,
you can use the scroll bar to browse through additional occurrences in the text.
Practical search examples:
entering the word "electronic" in different forms may return a different number of chapters each time,
entering a shortened form such as "electr" will return no results.
Multi-word search terms:
You can also enter multi-word phrases in the Search field, for example:
"electronic banking"
In this case, the program:
searches for the entire phrase as a whole,
also searches for each individual word separately,
the result is a larger number of chapters found.
This search method is especially useful when looking for more complex topics or specific procedures.
