Sales Analysis

How to Create Sales Analyses

Written by Lenka Haringerová

Sales – Sales Analysis

When you open this form, a wizard will appear. This option provides a view of sales from the perspective of specific goods, product groups, warehouses, cost centers, orders, by company, company group, or destination, and also determines your company's turnover and profit.

It contains six basic options, for which you can specify a time range, select cost centers, optionally determine whether to include non-catalog items and non-accounting documents, select a company, and more.
The last option allows custom configuration of all values.

  • Which customer generated the highest turnover/profit for me?

  • Which customer group generated the highest turnover/profit for me?

  • Which price list group generated the highest turnover/profit for me?

  • Which goods generated the highest turnover/profit for me?

  • What did I sell to a selected customer?

  • Who did I sell the selected goods to?

  • Custom analysis settings

You can choose for yourself what you want to analyze and how the data will be further broken down.

At the bottom of the screen, you can check the option "Show totals by individual months". In the table view, you can then add additional columns that will display the "Total CZK" and "Unit" values for each month, covering up to the last 12 months.

Then click the Next button:

Sales Analysis – Chart

Once the wizard is complete, a sales analysis will be generated based on the data you entered. The individual columns of the analysis can be added and adjusted to suit your needs. For details on editing columns, see the chapter Working with Data Windows.

From the generated analysis, you can very quickly create a chart. Use the "pie chart" button in the top toolbar to open the Chart Wizard, where you can select the chart type (bar or pie). Once the chart type is selected, the finished chart will be displayed, which can be printed, sent by email, or exported to XLS or PDF.
