🛍️ Sales – Menu / Navigation

The Sales module covers the complete agenda related to selling goods, materials, and services — from quotes through orders to invoicing and the point-of-sale register. It supports EAN barcodes, multi-currency transactions, and sending documents by email.

💡 For correct inventory continuity, first set up the code lists in the Goods module (price lists, warehouses, units of measure).

🧭 Sidebar Navigation — Quick Actions

➕ Issue a New Invoice

Opens the sales invoice form. Required: Invoice type (affects numbering and posting rules).
Features: automatic generation of stock issue notes for inventory items, EAN scanner support, deduction of paid advances, creation of a cash receipt for cash payments, relationship tracking via Links, envelope printing, and sending invoices by email.

➕ Receive a New Order

Opens the received order form. Required: Document type.
Line items can be set to reserve stock or place an order with a supplier. EAN scanner support. From a received order you can create sales invoices, stock issue notes, or additional orders. Relationship tracking via Links.

🧾 Sales Invoices

A list of all sales invoices — create, edit, cancel, print, send PDF by email, export/import (XLS, XML).
Invoice statuses change based on payments: PAID / PARTIALLY PAID / UNPAID. If posting rules and cost centers are configured, invoices can be posted automatically.

Tip: changing the customer account analytical code is also reflected in the related payment documents.

📦 Received Orders

A list of received orders with the option to convert them to stock issue notes, sales invoices, bulk orders, etc. Filtering, printing, and export options available.

👥 Customers

Quick access to business partners (filter: Customer / Customer/Supplier) for quickly updating contact details, bank information, and events.

💸 Direct Debit Orders

Management of cashless direct debits (can also be created in the Money module). Configuration and export according to bank formats.

📨 Received Inquiries / 📣 Issued Quotes

Management of inquiries and quotes with the option to convert them to an order or invoice, variant tracking, printing, email, and export.

🧾 Document Line Item Overviews

Consolidated line item lists from Sales module documents — sales invoices, received inquiries, issued quotes, and received orders. Used for analysis, margin control, and stock checks. Items can be filtered, sorted, and exported.

🧮 Sales Analysis

Sales overview by goods, groups, warehouses, cost centers, jobs, companies, or destinations — displays both turnover and profit.

🛒 Point-of-Sale Register

A streamlined retail form for cash and card payments — simplified creation of sales receipts and instant posting.

🧾 Jobs

A code list of jobs available across all documents — tracks related documents via Links, job status, responsible persons, cost centers, etc.

🏷️ Document Types

Define document behavior (number series, automatic generation of stock issue notes, accounting flags). Document types for the Sales module: sales invoice types, received inquiry types, issued quote types, received order types.

🧾 Posting Rules (Sales Invoices)

Configure posting settings (credit side), VAT, and fulfillment codes; also accessible directly when creating a document. Predefined templates for services, goods, and advances — customize as needed.

🔢 Document Number Series

Configure numbering (prefix, numeric part, suffix, accounting period). Predefined series can be modified.

💳 Payment Methods

A code list for various payment methods (cash, card, bank transfer, cash on delivery, etc.). Required especially when using the Point-of-Sale Register.

🗂️ Job Code Lists

Help classify documents by job; export to XLS is available.


✅ Recommended Practices and Tips

  • before going live, configure document types and posting rules — this will save you time and corrections later,

  • if you use a warehouse, verify price lists, EAN codes, and units of measure in the Goods module,

  • fill in bank details and standard text templates for customers to enable quick invoice sending,

  • use exports (XLS / XML) for bulk edits or analysis.
