Add-on Installation
The add-on can be downloaded from our website: Add-ons - ABRA Flexi (flexibee.eu). It is free of charge and can be used in both the ABRA Flexi desktop application and the web interface.
For the new feature to appear in the application, you need to either fully close and reopen Flexi, or simply switch companies via Company - Select Company and return to the desired company.
How does the add-on work?
The "Change History of a Specific Deleted Record" add-on allows you to retrieve the change history of a deleted record — for example, to obtain detailed information about its original entry, and more.
After activating the add-on, the output will be available in the user queries menu (the eye icon) in the following agendas:
Issued Invoices (+ Sales Register)
Received Invoices
Other Receivables
Other Payables
Internal Documents
Goods Receipts/Issues
Bank
Cash Register
The add-on is available for Premium plans and is free of charge. It is available in the cloud and on a company server (with a public IP address).
In this article, we will demonstrate the use of the add-on for the Issued Invoices agenda.
After selecting the report FAV_DELETE_DETAIL: Change History of a Specific Deleted Issued Invoice, proceed by clicking "Finish".
In the following window, the input parameter for generating the overview of a specific deleted record is its Record ID — for example, a gap in the number sequence. Proceed by clicking "Finish".
An overview will then be displayed containing available information about the history of the saved document — from creation and editing, through payment, to deletion.
The UPDATE operation indicates the record update history
The DELETE operation shows the details of individual document fields as they were before deletion
If you do not see the ID column in the agenda overview (for agendas where the add-on is available), you will need to make it visible.
Right-click on any column header and select Column Selection. Choose "ID" and move it to the displayed fields.
If you do not have a Premium plan (which means the add-on cannot be installed) but would like to retrieve the details of a deleted record, the data can be obtained from the so-called journal. For cloud instances, we can look up the data on request, but the action cannot be reversed retroactively. If you have your own server, you will need to access the database and search the journal using SQL queries.
