🛠️ Bulk Changes
⚠️ Note: The bulk changes feature is only available in licenses Business and above.
The Bulk Changes feature allows you to quickly edit a large number of records at once.
It is useful wherever manually updating items one by one would be too slow or impractical.
Bulk changes can be performed in the following sections of the system:
Documents – limited
line items of invoices
line items of orders
line items of warehouse documents
💡 You can apply bulk changes to all displayed items or to only manually selected items.
🔍 Selecting Items for a Bulk Change
There are two ways to define the scope of a change:
1️⃣ All displayed
Use this option if you want to change all items currently shown in the list view.
You can use filters to narrow down the items first, so that the change applies only to the desired data.
2️⃣ Selected only
Manually check the individual items you want to change.
The checkboxes are always located at the beginning of each row in the list.
🧭 Bulk Changes Wizard
In the toolbar of the records list, click the "Bulk Changes" button.
A wizard will appear to guide you through the entire process:
Choose the scope – all displayed / selected only
Select the field you want to change
Enter the new value
Confirm the change
The system will then begin applying the changes to each individual item in sequence.
⚠️ If the entered value is not permitted in combination with other data, Flexi will notify you with an error message.
❗ Important notice:
Bulk changes cannot be undone.
Use them with care — especially when modifying a large number of records or values with accounting implications.
❓ FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why do some items not change and I receive an error message?
Flexi will prevent a change if the new value would conflict with other data.
For example:
invalid number format,
a prohibited combination of attributes,
a value outside the permitted range,
a required field left empty.
In such cases, a message will be displayed describing the issue.
2. I need to change documents or data that are not available through Bulk Changes.
In that case, you can use additional bulk change add-ons, which you can find for individual modules in the Add-ons section on our website.
