Sets and bundles serve as a sales tool. If you want to sell multiple components (price list items) as a single item, you're in the right place.
A set as such does not have its own stock inventory — this is handled at the level of its individual items (components). When a set is sold, the items contained within it are removed from stock.
The sets and bundles functionality is available starting from the Business license tier.
Sets and bundles can also be configured through the desktop application; a guide is also available.
Example
Our company sells electronics. We want to sell a camera set that includes a camera, a case, and an SD card.
Step 1
We create a price list item (a set) named CAMERA SET.
Note 1:
A set as such logically has no purchase (or cost) price. If a purchase price is entered for a set, it is only "indicative." The actual cost of selling it is calculated from the items it contains, i.e., from the issue notes of the relevant items.
Note 2:
The sales price of a set is not calculated from the sales prices of the included items, so it needs to be entered directly on the set itself.
Note 3:
Although a set does not have its own stock inventory (individual components are stocked, not the set itself), it must still be recorded as a stocked item.
Step 2
As with any other items in the price list, we create (if they don't already exist) the individual items that will be part of the set.
We continue by adding the individual components. This can be found in the bottom tab bar, under the "Sets" tab.

Once we have added all the necessary items to the set, we can save the set.
⚠️ Note 4: For sets and bundles, it is always necessary to set up warehouse mapping, even if you only have one warehouse. Without it, ABRA Flexi does not know which warehouse to remove the set's components from, and the sale of the set will not go through.

Now that we have the set correctly configured, we can try selling it. Let's go to issued invoices, create a new invoice, and add this set to it.
When the invoice is saved (assuming the invoice type has automatic stock document generation enabled), an issue note for the relevant set items will be created.
In the links above the given invoice (or sales receipt), we can find the newly created linked issue note.
After opening the given issue note, we can see the components of the set that were just issued.
Both stocking in and stocking out occur only at the level of the set's components; the set itself does not have its own stock inventory.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it possible to copy a set's configuration to another item?
A set can be copied, but currently only in the desktop application. For set items, there is a button available that allows you to copy the configuration of another set and paste it into the one being newly created.
Can a purchase order for a set's components be created directly from an ordered set?
If a customer orders a set (so you create a received order for it), you can directly create an issued order. Only the components of the set will be ordered.
Is it always necessary to set up warehouse mapping?
Yes. Warehouse mapping must always be set up, even if you only have one warehouse. It is from this mapping that ABRA Flexi determines which warehouse the set's components should be removed from. Without this setting, the sale of the set will not go through.
The set used to be a standard item and I have stock inventory on it — how can I get rid of it?
If the current set used to be a standard item that had stock movements, and there is a remaining balance in stock after the set was created, the only way to remove it from stock is to remove the set configuration in the price list first, and only then perform the stock removal.
Can a set be used in a module other than Sales?
An item that is a set cannot be used in the Purchase module or in the Goods module. In these modules, only the set's individual items can be used.
Can the available quantity of an entire set be determined?
This is possible using our add-on. It can be easily downloaded (from the Premium tier) and used.
