Posting Rules in Accounting

General information about code lists can be found in the Basic Parameter Settings chapter, section Code Lists.

Posting rules can simplify the posting of all documents. They are used in individual modules within document type settings. They are also available when creating individual documents — in the document header and in the bottom panel, where the pre-configured posting can be changed. You can also set a fulfillment code for VAT.

Posting Rules in Specific Modules

In the "Tools" menu, under "Code Lists -> Posting Rules," all posting rules are available in one place. Since they are also used in individual modules, they are accessible directly within those modules as separate options. A more detailed description of posting rules is therefore provided within the respective modules:

A basic default configuration is provided. However, you must adjust and supplement this configuration according to your own requirements. You can do this here or directly within the individual modules. In any case, you will need to have a chart of accounts prepared in advance.

The top toolbar contains a number of buttons whose functions are described in the dedicated chapter "Program Controls".

Below the top toolbar, there is also an available option where you can expand a dropdown list and restrict the view by individual types of posting rules. The default setting is "Module unrestricted" — which is why all created posting rules are displayed here.
